Purpose

Qualification

The ideal candidate must currently be working on Usan field or have prior relevant experience on Usan field.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine operations and be able to work to
deliver results with minimum supervision, within a diverse team.
In addition, candidates must possess:
-Class 1 Master Mariners certificate (Foreign Going)
-A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a master mariner
-A minimum of 10 years ocean going ship experience
-Tanker mooring experience
-Knowledge of Marine terminal operation
-Excellent ship handling skills
-Must be able to communicate effectively with tanker officers of different nationalities
-Knowledge of local sea and weather conditions

Purpose

Liaise with the line in having the MOVINS received within the dead lines as stipulated.
Prepare, execute, and monitor working cranes program / sequence in executing the vessel’s discharge and load plans.
Prepare the required set of documents and handed over to execution, neat and error free.
Manage and control the execution of the vessel operation.
Focusing on the optimal equipment deployment and utilization.
Filing and housekeeping of planning related papers in accordance with the Standard operating procedures ( SOP’s ). Maintain that all vessels receive the final paper work in a timely manner.
Meet the vessel C/off on arrival and provide loading plans and obtain approval well in time. Coordinating with the lines for any major changes requested by the vessel.
During the operation close monitoring of the vessel and advice Shift Manager of any required adjustments to crane, sequence, crane allocations, etc in accordance with the changing work priorities.
Participate in close team work with the yard planners to ensure an effective overall terminal planning is maintained to high standards internally and externally.
Close monitoring of the live updates in the system during discharge and loading operation thro LXE’s. If in case where LXE’s fail ensure that the manual updates are received on time to timely updates.
Preparation and distribution of final stow plan documentation (hard copy or EDI) for vessel and lines upon completion of operation.
Upon completion of operation have the vessel files closed immediately and send out the post ops file to the agents.
Undertake all and any related vessel duties within the capabilities as required

Qualification

A University degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline.
Requires at least two or more years of previous experience as a vessel or yard planner for a container terminal operation. Previous experience as a dispatcher in a container terminal environment will be an advantage.
Requires sound knowledge of container vessel stowage and stability criteria

The incumbent of this position will primarily be engaged with Upstream Nigeria offshore field operations – QIT, BRT, YOHO and ERHA.
Other responsibilities will include:
Advise ship masters on mooring/loading preparations and procedures
Ensure enforcement of international, company and port regulations
Ensure safety and environmental regulations are strictly complied with
Coordinate maintenance of SPM buoys and related mooring equipment/gears
Maintain accurate record of marine hoses (including thru’put of marine hoses in use)
Carry out ship/offshore support vessel inspections
Berthing/Unberthing of tankers and advice shipmasters on best approaches to MPN loading berths
Direct line handling boats in safe and efficient mooring operation
Ensure de-ballasting (clean ballast only) is properly carried out and tanks certified to receive cargo
Maintain communication with shore pump station/cargo control room on proper loading procedures, sequence and rates
Certify quantities loaded on board in collaboration with ship’s officers and independent surveyors
Participate in oil release cleanup activities and marine incident investigations when necessary.

Qualification

Purpose

To co-ordinate all crude oil export shipping activities which result from the crude oil production activities of Neconde operating in Nigeria, including NOV production. This role includes the management of crude oil stock levels at operated terminals, management of off take tanker programming and clearance of all vessels scheduled to load crude oil for Neconde and their contractual partners, including Government agencies.
To provide marine advice on port and terminal operations and activities.
To co-ordinate the Hydrocarbon Accounting of all crude oils exported by Neconde and their partners and to sign off such accounting reconciliation with Government Agencies and partners.
To manage the processing of all demurrage and oil loss claims incurred as a result of crude oil export operational activity.
To act as Chairman of the OPTS – Terminals subcommittee.

Qualification

Minimum B.Sc (Minimum second Class lower) in Accounting from a reputable university. A relevant Masters degree in Accounting is preferred
Over 10 years experience in accounting, crude oil commercialisation/operations and logistics in exports and shipment.
