As a result of the complete take-over of Blue Circle Industries Plc, Lafarge SA of France became the majority shareholder in (WAPCO). With the acquisition, WAPCO has integrated into the Lafarge culture, implementing process reengineering and imbibing Lafarge’s Best Practices.
By the end of the year 2007, the name West African Portland Cement Plc changed to Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc (Lafarge WAPCO for short) to reflect the rebirth of our dear Company as a part of an international organization, strategically positioned for greater heights.
With its state-of-the-art plant in Ewekoro, Lafarge WAPCO is the manufacturer of Elephant Cement, a formidable brand that has consistently won the NIS Certificate for product quality by the Nigerian Standard Organisation for over two decades.

Purpose

Ensure concrete plants are loaded with material as per plant operator’s instructions.
Daily preventive maintenance and minor repair of assigned pay loader.
Assist with minor repairs and changing of tyres.

Qualification

4-5 years’ experience driving CAT Pay Loader

The U.S. Embassy in Abuja is seeking to employ a suitable and qualified candidate for the position of Foreign Service National Investigator in the Regional Security Office.

Purpose

Incumbent serves as an advisor to the Regional Security Office (RSO) on all matters of security. In addition to conducting US Embassy job-related investigators, the incumbent conducts sensitive criminal and consular fraud investigations. The incumbent maintains regular liaison between US Embassy RSO and Abuja local police and other Government of Nigeria (GON) security entities. The incumbent stays well-informed of all securityrelated matters to provide up-to-date security briefings to new LES and to the RSO.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in a law enforcement office is required.
Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading in English is required.
Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading in Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba is required.
Advanced security and law enforcement experience in Nigeria as well as an understanding of the security apparatus are required.
Candidate must possess a valid professional driver’s license.
Candidate must possess ability to independently resolve discrepancies and negative perceptions between Nigerian police/other GON security authorities and
the RSO/US Embassy.

The U.S. Embassy in Abuja is seeking to employ a suitable and qualified candidate for the position of Criminal Fraud Investigator in the Regional Security Office.

Purpose

The Criminal Fraud Investigator (CFI) will conduct criminal investigations throughout Nigeria and the surrounding region, reporting to the Assistant Regional Security OfficerInvestigations (ARSO-I) as part of the Overseas Criminal Investigators (OCI) program governed by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The CFI may be called on to provide court dispositions or testimony as part of host nation criminal prosecution.

Qualification

College degree from a recognized college or university in the fields of law enforcement, criminal justice, law, criminology, forensics, social sciences, journalism, and a minimum of six months of formal professional training in the fields of investigation, criminal justice, law enforcement, security, fraud/loss prevention, and/or consular work is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the fields of investigator, criminal justice, law enforcement, fraud/loss prevention, security and/or consular
work is required.
Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading in English is required.
Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Nigeria and other travel document
security and control features and analysis techniques.
Candidate must possess or acquire excellent computer and data-management skills.

Qualification

Completion of Secondary School is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of providing close protection service or protective service driving is required.

Purpose

Provides effective monitoring of CSA’s to ensure that proper procedures for profiling of passengers is maintained at all times, both for primary and secondary screening
Ensures that passenger issues relating to possible forged documents are handled and strictly adhered to according to Air Nigeria and regulatory procedures.
Provides effective advice and support to Duty Managers, regarding suspicious passengers and or travel documents
Ensures close supervision of CSA’s is maintained and any potential issues/discrepancies are dealt with appropriately and reported to the Team Leader and or Duty Manager
Gives effective direction and close support to Team Lead/CSA’s
Maintain good working relationship with all AN staff, Airport Authorities and High Commission Officials
Diligent, resourceful, respectful, and tactful

Qualification

The position requires a university degree / HND from a Recognised institution.
Applicant must possess 3 years of previous work experience.
Effective Communication skills.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Team Player.
High level of personal credibility
