Purpose

Manages and/or co-ordinates the implementation of business process improvements on site in support of business targets.
Applies Lean and six sigma tools & techniques to generate opportunities that deliver business benefit: financial and non – financial.
Develop OE Advocates on site through sharing of Lean Sigma tools, techniques, knowledge and skills with employees to create and sustain continuous improvement.
Support the OE Champion to ensure that Operational Excellence becomes Way of working (WoW) on site.
Conducts and facilitate Value stream baseline on site to identify areas of improvement for both financial and non-financial benefits.
Provides Mentoring support to Advocates, Green Belts, Managers and other employees.
Provides diagnostic support to Suppliers with respect to cost saving initiatives.
Implement elements of OE foundation on site with a view to improve site scorecard through Performance Management / accountability process.
Tracking and verification of financial benefits with Finance department.
Generates report on Productivity, %OEE, OE Dashboard, etc.
Drive standard Work as a WoW on site with emphasis on shop floor.
Train OE Advocates for conducting Root Cause Analysis on the shop floor.
Run workshop on Leading Managing Lean Sigma for delegates within and outside the country.

Qualification

Minimum of First Degree or equivalent in Sciences especially Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences and other related Disciplines.
3 years experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality processes and engineering.
Computer literacy
Knowledge in using Lean principles, tools / approach for problem solving.
Good Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodology
Good knowledge of the Mackenzie Model/ Foundation Deployment Model
Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality processes and engineering.
Innovative, analytical and problem solving skills
Experience of change management and organization re-design
Leadership skills to introduce new processes and ways of working within the organization and facilitate, coach and motivate multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams
Grounded in production and pharmaceutical operation and Ability to plan and organize work.
Versatile in Computer applications.
