Purpose

The position incumbent reports to the Retail Network Engineer and is responsible for the day to day management of all Engineering projects within his Region from design phase to the execution phase / commissioning / handing over.
The Regional Engineer is responsible for the supervision of all Retail outlet Facility maintenance and repair activities and modernization of all company Retail Outlets within the region in accordance to specifications and engineering standards and best practice.
The position incumbent has the on-site supervisory responsibility of ensuring timely completion of all Engineering Facility Upgrade Projects in his region.
Develop work plan for buildings, installations, warehouses and retail outlet projects in his region.
Preparation of Bills of quantity, carry out market surveys, Project estimates and tender documents of all civil / Facility Maintenance projects for His region.
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel
Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, resolving engineering design and test problems of Retail Outlets and other sites within the region.
Prepares interim and completion reports for facility maintenance and other related projects within the region.
Research into the current industry trends both local and global that will confer competitive advantage in the market for Oando Plc.
Supervision of all civil Engineering projects in His Region, ensuring it meets Oando’s quality standards and specifications with accompanying status reports
Inspects project sites within his region to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and HSEQ standards
Supervises the end – to – end of all Retail Facility Maintenance / other projects in his region. Carry out scheduled inspection visits to the Retail Outlets in his region for audit purposes in line with the Retail Facility Maintenance.
Controls expenditures within limitations of Retail facility maintenance budget.
Prepares documents for the tender process for his regional facility maintenance projects
Evaluates project output to determine compliance with or variance from project objectives and standards.
Manages the customer service & administrative functions of all Engineering activities in his region and any other assigned function.

Qualification

1st degree in Engineering
Membership of Nigeria Society Of Engineers
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience, with relevant experience in similar roles in the oil and gas environment

Receive and act on all Product Supply Authorization (PSA) orders
Check any unauthorized product supply Invoice/SMR to customers from PPMC Depot
Prepare monthly returns to CCU/Head Office.
Supervise depot staff and ensure effective co-ordination of depot activities at the depot(s)
Ensure efficient and equitable allocation of product to Oando by PPMC
Ensure all trucks used for transportation meet Oando specified standards
Maximize TWP volumes from PPMC depots
Manage relationships with PPMC and tanker representatives at the depots.

Qualification

Minimum of a 2nd class lower
Minimum of 3 years experience in downstream Oil & Gas Sector

A) General Eligibility

Ensures that BAT EHS guidelines are followed when manufacturing cigarettes on production machine.
Carry out daily and weekly maintenance or planned activities according to prescribed procedures to ensure efficient machine performance.
Complete relevant documents/checklists as prescribed in order to ensure availability of accurate operating and maintenance data.

Qualification

Jobholder must possess either an O’ Level School certificate , Trade Test certificate, City & Guilds of London certificate or National Diploma certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of two years experience operating a GD121 / GDX2 /GDX3/KDF2 Machine.
Must pass the Operational proficiency test.
Spatial / Abstract Reasoning/ Hand-Eye Coordination.
Very good team player, Self-driven, creative and proactive.
