Propositions & Promotions Specialist (Data or VAS),Lagos,MTN Nigeria

Purpose

Work closely with Data/VAS Propositions and Promotions Manager to implement and measure go-to-market strategy for all Data/VAS propositions and promotions in MTN
Collaborate with Brand Managers and Business Intelligence to analyze customer needs /aspirations and align promotions objectives in relation to existing propositions in different brand segments
Ensure successful launch of Data/VAS propositions and services, and participate in key sales situations and events for the service
Liaise with the Product Development team to develop new proposition based on identified needs and monitor uptake of VAS/data propositions
Assist in the development of business case for assigned Data/VAS propositions
Provide input into Data/VAS promotions requirement documents to facilitate implementation, including market requirement documents, descriptions, cases, storyboards and flow diagrams
Assist in the implementation of communication strategy for Data/VAS propositions implementation, including market requirement documents, descriptions, cases, storyboards and flow diagrams
Maintain and demonstrate a strong understanding of the marketplace as regards and current and evolving opportunities for mobile operators and other industries in relations to VAS/Data propositions
Track and report revenue growth for Data/VAS
Evaluate viability of identified partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden company’s Data/VAS propositions

Qualification

First degree in a related field
At least 4 years experience which includes:
Brand management in a marketing department
Marketing plans, advertising materials and product life cycle monitoring
Experience in collaborating with and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
A good understanding of systems, networks and mobile telecoms and mobile applications
Experience in telecommunications marketing or consulting, will be a plus
